An exciting opportunity awaits a highly skilled and motivated Import Service Representative in South East Melbourne. This role is responsible for managing bookings and order processes, working closely with clients to select optimal shipping solutions while addressing urgent or delayed shipments. The Import Service Representative will liaise with clients via phone and email, providing exceptional service, generating reports and quotations, and maintaining accurate client databases.

Responsibilities
Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):- Manage bookings and order processes, working closely with clients to select optimal shipping solutions while addressing urgent or delayed shipments.
- Liaise with clients via phone and email, providing exceptional service, generating reports and quotations, and maintaining accurate client databases.
- Coordinate with overseas agents to source costs, provide one-off quotes, track purchase orders, and ensure smooth consignment movement.
- Collaborate with operations and suppliers to uphold SOP integrity, ensure accurate billing, and streamline import documentation processes.
- Support sales initiatives, attend client visits to strengthen relationships, and drive process improvements while meeting KPI and compliance standards.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role you will have/ be:- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in customer service, sales support, or account management.
- CargoWise proficiency is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Asian market, including service routing and pricing structures, is highly valued.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
