Your role at St John of God Midland Hospital
To participate as a member within the multi-disciplinary team and under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, assists in the delivery of a quality cleaning service within the Housekeeping Department.
The Position
-
Assists in the cleaning of Hospital public areas, Medical Clinic public areas and tenancies, and other designated clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with Duty Statements and Hospital cleaning protocols and procedures.

Assists in the removal of soiled linen and rubbish from designated areas in accordance with Duty Statements and Hospital policies and procedures.

Assists in the provision of other additional services provided by housekeeping under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers or Duty Nurse Manager.

Participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment.

Participates in an annual performance development review.

Supports the delivery of a safe patient care and the consumers experience including participation in continuous quality improvement activities in accordance with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards.

All other reasonable duties as directed by Manager/Supervisor.
You will have sound verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate good organisational skills.

Salary : $37.19 to $38.51 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 11.5% superannuation
