In this role your will be responsible for:- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and 3-axis CNC lathes.
- Perform forklift operations (valid license highly regarded).
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks at each stage of production to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of machinery and workspaces.
- Work on a variety of production tasks, including prototyping, jobbing, and small batch runs (10–50 components), as well as medium-volume production runs (typically 1,000–2,000 units), and occasionally complex one-off pieces.
Your Profile
We are seeking a motivated employee who posesses the following:- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the business.
- Completion of a relevant apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with CAD software and drawings.
- Ability to deliver high-quality finished components with precision.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to team members.
- A responsible, honest, and accountable work ethic.
- Maintain a safe, organised, workshop environment.
