The Environmental Health Officer position will promote and protect the community’s health and environmental standards by preventing disease and harm by being responsible for providing a range of enforcement, regulatory, and administrative functions with a focus on food safety, environmental protection, disaster management, personal appearance, public health, local laws, and waste management.
This position will work under general direction; however graduates will initially be appointed to work under direct supervision.
- The salary range for this position is $37,136.96 - $46,624.20 gross per annum, pro rata, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- This is a Temporary Part time position (36.25 hours / fortnight) until April 2026:
- Week 1: Wednesday - Friday
- Week 2: Thursday - Friday
- 7.25 hours / day
- The position is based in the Toowoomba CBD.
