As the Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services, Kangaroo Point.
St Vincent’s Care Services Kangaroo Point (locally known as Marycrest and Lilian Cooper) offers progressive care in a stimulating and caring environment, where staff ensure residents feel welcome, valued and safe. The facility has earned a wonderful reputation as a place where elderly residents are cared for with respect and compassion.
Our Kangaroo Point residents enjoy exceptional care with the added benefit of one of the finest views in Australia. St Vincent’s Care Services Kangaroo Point is co-located with St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane near the iconic Story Bridge and overlooks the meandering Brisbane River and the city skyline.

Things that work for us:
- We are looking for part time permanent team member who is flexible to work during weekdays
- Shift pattern will be usually 8 am to 4 pm OR 9 am to 5 pm
- Willing to work in fast faced environment
- Knowledgeable about high care and dementia
- Qualification related to Leisure and Lifestyle or diversional therapy is essential
- Experience in an aged care sector, developing leisure programs including working with dementia clients
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
- NDIS Worker Screening Check is requirement at St Vincent's Kangaroo Point.
