The Project
CPB Constructors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa.. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now, and will go through until mid 2026.
Your opportunity
Join CPB Contractors as a full-time employee and contribute to the success of one of Australia's largest contractors. Engage with industry leaders from project start-up, working on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis with a balanced 20 days on and 8 days off schedule.
We have opportunities for experienced Trade Assistant , to join our team.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Australian Driving Licence
- High Risk Work Licence - EWP essential
- First Aid Certificate - essential
- Fire attack Certificate - essential
- Experience in a similar FIFO role (minimum 12 months experience)
- Strong Safety Awareness
- Flexible and Adaptable to changing work environments
- Other tickets - Forklift, Telehandler, Dogman (advantageous)
- Hold unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safety in the construction industry (White Card)
- Flexible & adaptable to changing environments
