About this Position We are looking for a skilled leader to manage and optimize manufacturing operations by implementing policies and plans that drive profitability, ensure sustainability, maintain compliance, and keep our operations competitive, reliable, and cost-efficient.
What You´ll Do
Lead and manage the manufacturing and warehousing teams at Kilsyth, ensuring alignment with business goals and clear communication of expectations. Motivate and develop employees, ensuring they possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to succeed in their roles. Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for manufacturing, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective, timely execution of activities. Prioritize safety and environmental responsibility, driving continuous improvement in SHE performance with the ultimate goal of zero injuries, environmental incidents, and regulatory breaches. Oversee the capital planning process for Kilsyth, ensuring that budgets and timeframes are met for business growth and operational needs. Manage contractor selection and performance, ensuring high service standards are met for maintenance, engineering, technical design, and construction services. Foster strong relationships with the local community, emergency services, and government to ensure positive interactions and support. Provide strategic input for new production processes, site acquisitions, and improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical). A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or a related field. Strong understanding of SHEQ Standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Background in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Chemicals is highly preferred.
