About the role
The position provides psychiatric consults to inpatients referred by the general hospital medical teams from the four Metro South hospitals: Princess Alexandra, Logan, QEII and Redland Hospitals. The position also provides ongoing Psychiatric liaison to these referred patients.
You will lead a small team of multidisciplinary staff in the delivery of consults and liaison to this referred group of patients. The position will be responsible as a direct supervisor to RANZCP trainees. The position will be expected to lead quality improvement within the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry service and you will be expected to participate and lead research in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry within Metro South Health.
