Description:
The Technical Lead is responsible for the following:
- Oversee the technical and statistical assessment of documentation supplied by program participants for PBA projects in line with agreed PBA assessment criteria and evidentiary requirements.
- Provide guidance, mentor junior PBA team members, and educate VEU staff on technical issues and statistical modelling relating to PBA projects.
- Undertake research and analysis on various issues relating to PBA administration as required.
- Provide advice to scheme participants and other government and industry stakeholders on technical topics relating to PBA administration.
- Prepare reports, consultation papers, guidelines and decisions on matters relating to PBA administration.
- Work effectively with minimum guidance as part of multi-disciplinary teams established to support the administration of VEU and to meet the requirements of the Commission's overall work program.
- Other duties as required.

This is a fixed term position covering parental leave until 1 April 2026. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
