We’re looking for a Buying Assistant to join our Merchandise Team, supporting one of our biggest and most dynamic categories. If you're organised, love retail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart or grow your merchandise career.
What You'll Do:
You’ll provide vital operational support to the Buyer and ensure smooth day-to-day category management, including:
- Writing and managing purchase orders, including vendor follow-ups
- Article creation and maintaining accuracy in SAP
- Managing mark-ups and markdowns with correct pricing updates
- Handling admin tasks across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles
- Analysing merchandise reports to support trade decisions
- Managing product samples and promotional admin
- Coordinating shipments and timelines with internal teams and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate supplier and overseas agent contact information
What You’ll Bring:
- 1–2 years’ experience in a retail support office or store-based role
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Great communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
