Senior Mobile Developer (Android/React Native)| 3 Month ContractWe need a Senior Mobile Developer with excellent Android and React Native chops to help refactor an existing code base to show some love to an application that's lagging in some parts and impacting the user experience for hundreds and thousands of Australians who use this app.
It's a critical role in improving the stability of the Android app with the end goal of increasing user retention and improving the experience for all Android users.
You will use your superior Android engineering skills to refactor an existing code base, squash some bugs, tidy it up and show some love to help it perform its best.
The role is a short-term contract (3 months) for a skilled engineer to enhance and stabilise the Android media playback experience in a React Native environment for a major digital media business.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in React Native and Native Android development, with a strong grasp of bridging native modules.
Work on one of Australia's flagship media companies and join a team of talent technologists to help bring this to life. They are data data-driven business that has impacted the Australian media landscape significantly over the last 5 years.

Need to have expensive experience with building Android apps that are or involve media/streaming.
Need to have experience with Android AND React Native
React Native app that sits on top of a 100% Kotlin Android code base.
