- As a Sales and Technical Product Specialist you will be responsible for sales, both over the phone, in-person and remotely to customers across Oceania region, including a dealer distribution network and end users being dentists and dental laboratories. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
- You will train dealers and end users in the product, and support installations. You will work with the product team and deliver high quality technical IT support services.
- You will directly resolve or assist other technicians in resolving issues with the equipment at the customers’ premises and develop support related documentation and resources.
- You will capture all interactions with customers using CRM (Salesforce).
- You will develop and run education sessions and be available for tradeshow events, dealer and other events as required.
- Experience in a similar role in dental sales, with proven success winning business as this role requires someone to hunt for new business as well as manage existing business.
- Ideally you will be a dental technician coming from a dental laboratory that's moved into sales or you will come from an IT software background in dental.
- Proven experience in technical support and capital equipment product sales in the dental industry. You will be familiar with being a business advisor to dentists to grow their practices.
- Familiarity with IT systems or engineering, hardware troubleshooting, and CRM platforms (eg. Salesforce).
- Valid full driver’s license and able to travel nationally one week a month.
- Familiarity with 3D printing, or related technologies is an advantage as is an understanding of CAD-CAM digital dentistry and its application across dental labs and clinics. Ideally you will be a dental technician who has experience with milling machines or you will have sold dental milling machines, this is the main requirement for this position.
