About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Open Cut Examiner to join our client located at Wilpinjong mine. The role is on a 5:4 roster, rotating day and night shifts with camp & meals provided for those outside the area.
What you will be doing:

Undertake inspections everyday within the project boundaries and assist in daily production plans and corresponding job safety analysis or risk assessments as part of the cross-sections.

Understand the requirements and risk controls as outlined in the Project Risk Assessment.

Regularly audit the mitigation controls to ensure the project is in compliance with the site safety and health management system.

Ensure safety and health documentation at the project site is kept accurate and current. Communicate regularly with the training and safety coordinators on any improvements required.
What you will need:

VOC's to validate previous operating experience
-
NSW Practicing Certificate required - MUST Include RIIWHS301, RIIRIS301 & RIICOM301

Proven track record of operating safely
-
Strong team player who supports our client's operations

Australian Driver's Licence
-
Right to Work in Australia
