Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health, including biomechanical analysis and gait assessment.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs, including interventions such as orthotics, footwear advice, and exercise programs.
- Perform routine foot care procedures, such as nail care, callus reduction, and wound management.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive care strategies, and self-management techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with advancements in podiatric care.
