Automotive Business Manager Location: Regional Queensland (Less than 100 km from Cairns)
Are you a financial expert with a passion for the automotive industry? We are seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Business Manager to join a dynamic dealership team. This is a pivotal position where your leadership, financial insight, and customer service will directly influence business success and client satisfaction.
About the Location Located under 100 km from Cairns, this charming regional town is home to approximately 8,500 residents, with a wider regional population of around 26,000. The area boasts a cooler climate than Cairns, a scenic environment with mountain ranges, national parks, and various outdoor attractions. You'll also find strong infrastructure, including public and private schools, a hospital, and quality leisure and health facilities—ideal for families or professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle.
About the Company Our client is a privately owned and operated dealership , led by a Dealer Principal with deep roots in the community—over 40 years in the region. With operations across two locations in the local area and another on the coast, this well-regarded dealership represents multiple light vehicle and small machinery brands .
The Role We are looking for a seasoned Automotive Business Manager with a strong background in finance and insurance (F&I) within a dealership setting. A close working relationship with the Sales Department will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Offer and explain finance and insurance products to customers
  • Prepare and submit accurate documentation to lenders for finance approval and fund settlement
  • Assist with smooth vehicle delivery processes
  • Complete end-of-month reporting requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous accreditation with automotive financiers
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and F&I software systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A team-oriented, proactive attitude
