A Day in the Life
While this role offers plenty of variety, some of your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Greeting visitors and managing a professional, friendly front desk
- Handling a busy phone line with confidence and warmth
- Assisting with orders, product inquiries, stock checks and returns
- Supporting internal teams and the sales function with admin and updates
- Keeping the reception and office space tidy and well-stocked
- Jumping in to help with other admin tasks as needed
To be super successful in this position, you’ll have:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception or admin position (building industry a bonus)
- Great personal presentation and a strong, friendly phone manner
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and handling high-volume queries
- A “can-do” attitude and a team mindset – no task too big or small
- The ability to stay organised, calm, and clear when things get busy
