About your opportunity:
In this position you will deliver safe and effective occupational therapy services to consumers of the Subacute Care Unit (SACU), other OPSAR services, their partners, carers and families, as part of an interprofessional team. The role can involve working in any of the OPSAR services and may include rotations between OPSAR services and weekend shifts. The appointee may be required to work a 7-day roster with flexible rostering patterns.
About your role:
- Provide consistent, safe and efficient occupational therapy services and case management when required, within an interprofessional team, under clinical practice supervision commensurate with experience.
- Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving abilities while working in varied and demanding caseloads.
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives to ensure the provision of quality, cost effective healthcare.
- Provide clinical practice supervision, education, and mentoring of less experienced Occupational Therapists, allied health assistants, support staff and students with the guidance of senior clinical staff, assisting with core competency training and skill development.
