Location: This position is based Barcaldine with Regional Work and Travel as required
Classification Level: Minimum Stream A, Level 4.1
Wage: Minimum $77,877.80 per annum + 12% superannuation contribution
Hours of work: 72.5 Hours over a 9 working day fortnight.
Leave Entitlements: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum

About the Position:
Barcaldine Regional Council is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Grants Officer.
As a Grants Officer, you will identify, research and prepare high-quality grant applications on behalf of Barcaldine Regional Council. You will develop resources and promote tools to enhance the Council’s grant-seeking capabilities, including promoting appropriate funding sources, providing and coordinating grant learning resources for community organisations and business groups as well.
To be successful for this position you will ideally have, demonstrated experience in grant writing, application and management, as well as demonstrated experience and understanding of community grants and support in Local Government.
