About ROOS Care
Located on the Fraser Coast Anglican College campus, a sprawling 62 acres of bushland in Hervey Bay, our Koala Kindy Centre and ROOS Care provides high quality play based education for children aged 3 to 5 years and outside of school hours care and vaccination care for school aged children.
About the role
We are seeking innovative educators who will share their passion for developing young children while working as an Educator at the College’s ROOS Care (Outside School Hours Care). This position is suited to an enthusiastic person with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families. Educator positions support the success of our educational programs in collaboration with the Director of Early Learning and ROOS Care Lead Educator in accordance with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and National Quality Framework.
Educator duties
As an Educator, you will support the creation of an innovative learning environment in which children feel comfortable and encouraged to thrive. You will:

work collaboratively with the team to deliver educational programs

build and maintain strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders

actively participate in program improvement
-
comply with Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework

contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests.
Essential qualifications and experience

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum)

Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
-
Experience working in early childhood education or outside school hours care
-
Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework

Certificate in First Aid & CPR
