About the Appointment
Working closely with the Director of Risk and Compliance, you’ll shape the organisation’s approach to managing regulatory risk, supporting decision-making, and fostering a risk-aware culture. You’ll be hands-on in assessing risk, conducting audits, interpreting obligations, and engaging with business units across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities

Support and enhance the enterprise risk management framework

Interpret regulatory changes and update policies and procedures accordingly

Conduct internal reviews, risk assessments, and compliance testing

Ensure appropriate registers, controls, and reporting processes are maintained
-
Advise internal teams on emerging risks and compliance expectations

Engage with internal stakeholders to build risk awareness and capability

Assist with Board and committee reporting where required
-
Experience in a senior compliance, governance, or risk role

Understanding of Australian financial regulations and licensing requirements

Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to influence without authority and work cross-functionally

Passion for compliance, integrity, and organisational improvement
