About The Position

Responsibilities
We are seeking passionate Food and Beverage staff with table service experience gained within a restaurant environment (3-6 months of previous experience). To be considered for this opportunity, good knowledge of wine, or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting, as well as experience in mixing a wide variety of cocktails, will be highly regarded. Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming guests with charm and professionalism, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.Presenting the menu with enthusiasm, answering questions, and offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs.Taking precise food and drink orders, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction at every step.Delivering food and drinks promptly, ensuring every dish is perfectly presented and every beverage is served to perfection.Maintaining an organized and pristine dining area, working seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and an efficient atmosphere.Handling guest inquiries and concerns with tact, professionalism, and grace, making sure every guest leaves with a smile.Staying in the know about the latest menu items, daily specials, and wine pairings to share your expertise with guests and elevate their experience.
These casual positions will require availability for a variety of dinner shifts from Tuesday to Saturday. Availability on weekends and during seasonal peaks (summer, public holiday and school holiday periods) is essential.
Certifications required: RSA

What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a waiter in a high-end or established à la carte restaurant.Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong work ethic and a natural ability to connect with people.The ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment, maintaining grace under pressure and attention to detail at all times.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring smooth interactions with guests and team members alike.Wine knowledge is a bonus! Experience with Coravin wine service is preferred.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required (after all, our busiest times are when the fun happens!).
