About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the infection prevention and control. This role has a key role in the development and monitoring of RBWH Infection Control Management Plan and acts as the secretariat for Strategic Infection Control Committee.

About you

  • Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience and clinical skills in infection monitoring and prevention.
  • Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
  • Participate in innovation and change to develop responses to address emerging service needs in relation to infection monitoring and prevention.
  • Practice collaboratively within the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
