THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.8 EFT.
Location: Glen Waverley campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Contract of employment to 31st December 2025.
The Department of Early Childhood Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated educator to deliver both theoretical and practical sessions for students enrolled in the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate IV in Education Support programs.
The role involves delivering courses, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment, and maintaining accurate, high-quality attendance records.

ABOUT YOU
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or its predecessors is required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively support, mentor, and guide students in their academic and personal development.
- Possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skill, with an ability to liaise effectively with students.
- Proven time management and organisational skills including the ability to use initiative and function effectively with limited supervision.
- Previous experience in training or assessing role would be an advantage.
- Possess the CHC30113 or CHC30121 qualification, and the CHC50113 or CHC50121 qualification; Preferred: Hold the CHC40213 or CHC40221 qualification.
