OSHC Coordinator – Bondi BeachLooking to take the next step in your Childcare career? Earlyhood Education and Childcare have an exciting opportunity for an Afterschool Care Coordinator, located in a bright and spacious NFP service close to the Bondi Beach area.
About the role:
We are looking for a professional, dedicated and organised individual, who is confident in managing a vibrant team of Educators and has previous experience in a similar Coordinator or Manager position.
As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for taking care of the day-to-day operations of the centre and delivering the exceptional service our client is known for. You will be leading and mentoring a team of Educators, and building lasting relationships with your team, parents and members of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive OSHC environment for children and staff, fostering a professional team culture.
- Maintain precise attendance and booking schedules to uphold child safety and supervision.
- Supervise and mentor educators, ensuring they perform their roles effectively and confidently.
- Design and implement engaging educational programs supported by observations and reflection journals.
- Support the mission, teachings, and ethos of the Catholic Church.
- Foster meaningful connections with families by sharing children’s participation and achievements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, the school community, and other stakeholders.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
- Certification in Child Protection Training.
- Current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check
- Competitive salary (Up to $100k + super depending on qualification and experience)
- Term: 11:30am–6:30pm (flexible)
Vacation: 8:00am–6:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm - Well-resourced NFP service with a supportive management structure
