Our client is seeking a highly motivated Rehabilitation Counsellor to join their team. In this pivotal role as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will be responsible for managing and supporting clients through their return-to-work journey in a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will develop tailored rehabilitation plans, foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, and provide expert advice to achieve meaningful outcomes. Your role will be critical in driving client success and ensuring excellence in rehabilitation services. Flexible working arrangements are offered, with access to co-working spaces across NSW to support your work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and stakeholders to support successful return-to-work outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to expand rehabilitation services within the NSW Workers Compensation scheme.
  • Provide tailored rehabilitation programs and develop new strategies to support client success.
  • Facilitate case conferences, return-to-work planning, and progress meetings with clients and employers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client-centered outcomes.
  • Achieve individual and team goals related to case referrals, return-to-work rates, and client satisfaction.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to foster professional development and best practices in rehabilitation.

Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, or Psychology
  • Full ASORC or AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders
