Your Purpose:
As the Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in bridging business requirements, customer needs, and data-driven solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable outcomes for our clients. Your responsibility will be to ensure that we are building customer-centric solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements.
Working closely with our client and internal data science, analytics, and technology teams, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of data and technology products. From ideation and requirements gathering to prioritisation, development, and performance measurement, you will take ownership of the backlog, ensuring that each item is well-defined, and that the team's upcoming work and priorities remain visible and transparent.
Furthermore, as the Product Owner, you will serve as the primary point of contact and the voice of our clients, representing their interests and ensuring their needs are effectively communicated and addressed.
Your Responsibilities:
* Establish the vision and roadmap, providing a clear outline of future initiatives and long-term strategies for each product.
* Champion the product roadmap and effectively communicate it to stakeholders, collaborating with agency partners to negotiate scope, scheduling, risks, and deployments.
* Proactively maintain and manage multiple product backlogs, prioritising data-driven outcomes based on business needs and urgency to maximise value delivery.
* Identify business problems that can be solved by leveraging the capabilities of the data science, analytics, and technology teams and create clear requirements that effectively fulfill those needs.
* Collaborate closely with clients and cross functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, insights analysts, external technology partners (e.g. Facebook and Google) and business stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, foster collaboration, and align everyone with the product vision and goals.
* Drive the democratisation of data science solutions, customer insights and marketing technology, empowering clients to recognise their value and apply them effectively.
* Ensure the scalability and flexibility of solutions owned by our teams, enabling them to be built once and utilised multiple times.
* Foster strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to cultivate a shared understanding of the data held and processed by the organisation.
Your Expertise:
* Prior experience as a Product Owner, with expertise in data, particularly in BI analytics and reporting, or relevant experience in data, analytics, and reporting.
* Strong visualisation and presentation skills to communicate solutions effectively to clients both technical and non-technical.
* A problem-solving mindset, collaboration skills, and proficiency in written and oral communication.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and effectively manage conflicting priorities.
* Experience working in Agile environments, utilising agile tools and processes.
* Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, or other online workflow tools.
* Client facing experience
Nice to have:
* Experience interpreting AB testing results and pre/post campaign analysis.
* Familiarity with model development life cycle.
* Experience across data platforms and data warehouses.
* Familiarity with different delivery models (e.g., Agile and Waterfall).
* Knowledge of data cleanrooms such as Google ADH and Meta AA
* Experience with data visualisation platforms such as Tableau or PowerBI
* Exposure to test-driven development, test automation & continuous delivery practices
