About the opportunity

The Change Advisor provides change delivery support and guidance to initiatives and change agents within the Service. The role may also contribute to the development, implementation and continual improvement of the NSW SES Delivery Framework, including tools and templates, to maximise member (staff and volunteer) adoption and minimise resistance to new initiatives and transformations.

Key challenges include maintaining current knowledge of change and communication best practice and their application within NSW SES context, an appreciation for the unique requirements and importance of volunteers to the NSW SES in a geographically diverse hub-and-spoke structure, and the ability to plan and execute change management activities effectively with a broad range of stakeholders with diverse needs and viewpoints, encouraging their input into project outcomes is essential.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess relevant experience in providing change management delivery support, ideally in a system implementation or process improvement project using agile approaches in a hybrid environment.
  • Have demonstrated change management experience in the successful delivery of change within a large organisation with a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Be proficient in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, communicating effectively to influence and negotiate.

  • Attractive salary range of $110,266.00 to $122,058.00 plus 11.5% superannuation and leave loading
