Join us in making a positive difference!We are currently seeking permanent part-time Forensic Disability Support Workers to support our clients which are currently on forensic orders in facilities based in Wacol.
What we can offer you:
- Pay rates starting from $34.36 ($35.51 starting pay rate if you have a relevant Cert IV) + penalties + loadings.
- 12% superannuation (higher than the statutory 11.5%).
- Increase your take home (net) pay by salary packaging up to $18,550 p.a. which can cover your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900 p.a.) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650 p.a.).

- Support NDIS participants who have a complex intellectual disabilities and/or mental health that have a history of being involved in the criminal justice system.
- 24-hour care model, meaning combination of shifts are available – morning, afternoon, weekends, and sleepovers.
- Following physical restraint restrictive practices, ensuring the safety of participants and staff.
- Support people with complex disability and behavioral needs (including offending behaviours)
- Assist participants in activities and tasks including capacity building, daily support and community access
- Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
- Implement positive behaviour support plans.
- Use a company vehicle and your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.
- Experience supporting people with a complex intellectual disability and/or mental health needs who have been involved in the criminal justice system
- Completed, or currently enrolled, in an industry relevant Certificate III qualification or higher.
