A respected national law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate (1–4 years PAE) to join their Disputes & Investigations practice. You’ll be working in a collaborative, high-performing team led by nationally regarded litigators, handling complex matters across commercial litigation, banking disputes, and insolvency.This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to accelerate their career with structured mentorship, a strong pipeline of work, and excellent client exposure.
The Role You will gain hands-on experience and play an integral role in managing files and supporting senior lawyers in a variety of contentious matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on secured recovery and insolvency disputes
- Managing negotiations and stakeholder communications
- Drafting a range of legal documents including:
• Court pleadings and submissions
• Letters of demand and breach notices
• Settlement deeds and forbearance agreements
• Briefs to Counsel and mediation prep - Court appearances and advocacy (as appropriate)
- Managing files with autonomy, under senior supervision
- 1–4 years PAE within a litigation, disputes, or insolvency practice
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
