About The TeamLocated in our Infrastructure Network Operations department, the Network Monitoring team are responsible for the monitoring, operation and management of the active assets associated within the water, sewer, and recycled water networks.
About Your New Role
You will respond to the needs of internal and external customers by processing data and service requests to assist Infrastructure Gold Coast crews and the general public working within our Operations Control Centre.
We are pivotal in monitoring all active assets 24/7 but also oversees the operation of the passive assets, including 3,500km of water mains and 3,500km of sewerage mains to provide safe drinking water supplies and sewerage collection.
We're Looking For People Who Have
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with the public/external stakeholdersAbility to prioritise problems, think laterally, gather and analyse information to identify symptoms and causes, and engage the correct people to deliver the appropriate service to the residents of the CityWork under pressure to determine the best course of action when assets fail or residents report problemsDeliver a high quality of service to internal and external customers and reacts responsively to customer expectationsReliable and self-motivated as a rotational shift worker Knowledge and experience in the water and sewerage industry, along with SCADA control systems advantageous24/7 Operation Centre/Control Room experience within the water and sewerage industry or a similar process-driven industry advantageous
