GP - Mount Nelson Medical Centre
The Position
Mount Nelson Medical Centre, located in the State's capital of Hobart, is seeking a VR GP to join their practice will the willingness to assist with Supervision of Drs in training.
The Organisation
Mount Nelson Medical Centre is a growing general practice with accreditation. Located in southern Tasmania’s beautiful suburb of Mount Nelson, less than 10 minutes’ drive from Hobart CBD.
Based on a patient-centred, evidence-based, holistic, culturally sensitive healthcare model. The team members are skilled, enthusiastic and genuine in their patient care, and a wide variety of presentations makes for a rewarding and challenging clinical experience.
The team is comprised of one Doctor (MBBS, FRACGP), three Drs in training, two part-time Nurses (RN & EN, who work across both locations), practice manager and two receptionists.
A mixed billing practice, operating hours are 9.30am - 6.30pm Monday-Friday.
Our sister practice, Bedford Street Medical Centre, located in Brighton is open: 9am - 1pm Monday & Fridays plus 9.00am - 3.00pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
Our current team is excited about their expansion and vision for future innovative, efficient healthcare, and are keen for the new GP to live in the area and embrace the lifestyle of living and working in a practice.
Skills and experience required;
- VR GP
- Good Procedural Skills Preferred
- Medical knowledge in chronic disease management would be an advantage.
