The Opportunity:

Employed by Webuild , Parklife Metro is currently seeking Fit Out Engineers to join our growing teams across the alignment (St Marys to Bradfield).

As a Fit-Out Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of the internal construction and finishing works across station, depot, and ancillary buildings. You will work closely with design, construction, and subcontractor teams to coordinate, oversee, and ensure the quality, safety, and timely delivery of all fit-out activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of fit-out packages from procurement to installation and handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and site logistics
• Monitor construction progress and assist with planning and scheduling activities
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Review and manage technical documentation, drawings, and ITPs
• Provide technical support and resolve on-site issues in a timely manner
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Prepare reports and contribute to progress updates and stakeholder briefings
  
  

Criteria:

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• 4+ years’ experience in a construction or building fit-out environment (rail/infrastructure preferred but not essential)
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability
• Team-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
