Your role
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Assessing clients’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
- Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based
- Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work, and residential facilities
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
- A degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility upon completion of a university degree in occupational therapy at an Australian university
