Your role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Assessing clients’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based
  • Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work, and residential facilities
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility upon completion of a university degree in occupational therapy at an Australian university
