Senior Manager, People Services
- Full Time, Fixed Term to 31 December 2026
- VPS Grade 6.1 ($138,631 - $162,076 plus superannuation)

What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Director, People, this role is responsible for:
- Overseeing the delivery of key People Services programs, ensuring alignment with organisational values and strategic goals.
- Leading and managing employee life cycle processes (from recruitment to offboarding), with a focus on delivery responsive support, driving continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and ensuring employees are engaged every step of the way.
- Providing specialist advice on employee-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and the Victorian Public Service (VPS) Enterprise Agreement.
- Developing, implementing and managing workplace policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, consistency, and adaptation to business needs.
- Implementing and optimising HR systems and technologies to improve data management and day to day operations.
What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience managing a multifunctional HR team.
- Ability to translate strategies into impactful programs and projects.
- High-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to shape and communicate policy and procedure recommendations with clarity and purpose.
- Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Commitment to the VEC's core values.
