Summary of position:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering personalised support to clients, ensuring their well-being and comfort while fostering their independence.
1 available casual position in the Port Pirie area. Available to work approximately 15 hours per week.

About the role:
This position is to provide support and care described in the client support plan such as personal care, housekeeping support, shopping, respite and social support.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Follow clients support plan at all times.
- Provide active companionship and emotional support with clients in their own home.
- Complete the housekeeping as agreed in the clients’ homes.
- Administer medications only as specified in the care plan.
- Promote and foster the independence of the client.
- Provide transport to different appointments, such as doctor, shopping, so on.
- Complete paperwork or upload changes to the system.
- Advise the Client Liaison Officer if support other than that described in the support plan appears necessary.
- Report to the Client Liaison Officer any changes observed in the client, the homes safety or other relevant aspects of the home environment.
Any other duties commensurate with the employee’s skills and experience as directed by the Direct Care Leader.
About you:
Essential qualifications and experience
- Certificate lll in Individual Support (Aging, Disability, Home and Community).
- Experience in working with older people or those with disability is desirable.
