Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Outpatient Physiotherapist experienced in orthopaedic and trauma care to join the Allied Health Team at Geelong! This is a full-time fixed term position (parental leave cover) until 30 May 2026.
This clinical role is responsible for-
Provision of Physiotherapy care in our outpatient rehabilitation service, to an orthopaedic, trauma and post-operative caseloadProvision of Physiotherapy care within the Cardiac Rehabilitation ProgramCoordination of case conferences for various outpatient consultantsSupervision of Grade 1 staff, Allied Health Assistants and students to support professional growthActive involvement in quality and research initiatives
You will make an impact through-
Provision of excellent and patient centred clinical care to an orthopaedic / trauma clinical cohortActive and enthusiastic participation as a member of the Physiotherapy department and Outpatient multidisciplinary teamAdapting quickly to varying workforce and clinical demandsCommunicating effectively with Rehabilitation Physicians and Surgeons to deliver optimal patient careCollaborating with other health professionals both internal and external to Epworth Healthcare to develop and grow services based on best practice
To be successful in this role you will have-
A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a hospital setting managing an orthopaedic clinical loadDemonstrated experience in clinical supervisionExcellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
