Salary Range $69,206.80 - $101,691.20 p.a. depending on experience

About the role
Come and join the GV Health Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT), a team with a well renowned supportive workplace culture with an opportunity to work alongside an experienced Speech Pathologist and team of Allied Health Professionals. You will work autonomously, undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in predominately home based settings, making a true difference to our client’s independence and well-being. There is no nursing home work.
In this role you will:

Travel across the Goulburn Valley region

Work with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and mobility

Provide specialist intervention to clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders

Advise on appropriate communication aids and devices
-
Participate in student training programs
-
Work within a progressive and supportive multidisciplinary team

Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives

We are looking for
-
Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology).
-
A member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and participating in the SPA professional self regulation program).

Knowledge and experience in the delivery of Speech Pathology services within home and community-based settings.

Knowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community care.
-
A Clear/Satisfactory National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Check or willingness to obtain before commencement
