Working primarily in the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors, they have an intricate understanding of the construction process end-to-end from trade through to client-driven project management. We are looking for a fulltime Carpenter/Joiner to join their business.
R esponsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and design specifications to accurately produce joinery items that align with client requirements and project objectives.
- Custom fabrication of workstations, cabinets and other specified joinery by following drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with different departments to create efficient joinery processes.
- Utilise a range of woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, routers, sanders and drills, with precision and safety precautions to shape and assemble joinery pieces.
- Ensure the quality of finished products by thoroughly inspecting materials, measurements and joinery techniques to meet design specifications and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality policy and processes to maintain high-quality standards in joinery.
Experience and skills:
- Relevant Qualifications
- At least proven 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood components to tight tolerances.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
