The Role:
Our Sydney transport depot is looking for casual and permanent MC Drivers for local and shuttle work.
As a casual, you will be flexible and able to work shifts across the 7-day period. There is plenty of work to keep you busy and earning well.
The shifts we have available are day, afternoon and night, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our valued customer goods.
Duties you can expect with this role include:
- Working with temperature sensitive produce for interstate runs
- Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner
- Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight
- Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklist
The candidates we are looking for will have:
- Have a current & valid MC licence as a minimum
- Experience driving B-doubles
- Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems.
- Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)
- Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.
- Be well presented, professional and reliable.
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Provide a current traffic print out
- Be willing to work across weekends, public holidays & be flexible with start & finish times
