Description:

ABOUT US
EPEC Group is a high voltage connections specialist, providing HV power engineering, EPC (for substations, lines and BESS BoP), testing and compliance services. EPEC also provides market modelling services, SCADA and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) services.
Our mission is to lead the way in connecting the future of Australia’s energy supply to renewable power generation sources. Since being founded in 2019, we have grown rapidly to support an evolving industry.
We manage connections to the national electricity market through end-to-end solutions from pre-enquiry to connection and registration, testing, compliance and commercial operations.
THE ROLE
EPEC are seeking a junior Project Scheduler to take responsibility for developing, maintaining and monitoring detailed project schedules for high-voltage substation projects, ensuring they align with contractual milestones and deliverables. You will work closely with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless coordination across all project phases, proactively identifying potential scheduling conflicts and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency. Your role will involve analyzing project progress, identifying deviations from baseline schedules and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
Day to day you will coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate accurate forecasting of material deliveries and workforce availability. Additionally, you will prepare and present regular schedule reports, lookahead plans and delay analyses to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring all project activities remain on track. A critical aspect of the role will be conducting schedule risk assessments, evaluating potential disruptions such as material shortages, design changes or resource constraints and developing strategies to minimize their impact. Furthermore, you will support project claims and variations through detailed schedule analysis, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and providing evidence-based assessments for negotiations.
This position is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, a passion for accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
