Full-time Carpenter position available in BOWEN HILLS QLD 4006.ALPHA-BIG PTY LTD , located in Bowen Hills, Queensland, is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in carpentry, including the construction and installation of various fixtures and structures, with a strong focus on both residential and commercial environments.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Review and analyze plans, drawings, and blueprints to understand project requirements and estimate materials needed.
- Build, install, and fix structures and fittings using timber, plywood, and similar materials.
- Carry out framing, roofing, and detailed finishing tasks on construction assignments.
- Adhere to building codes and safety standards throughout all phases of work.
- Work alongside other trades and crew members to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule.
- Use hand and power tools to cut and shape materials accurately to meet design specs.
- Keep the worksite tidy, organized, and free from hazards to promote safety and efficient
- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Carpenter
- Possess a valid industry standard safety white card
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks.
- Solid understanding of wooden construction techniques, materials, and tools.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
