Description:

  • $2,000 annual PD budget plus two dedicated PD days per year
  • Monthly 1:1 check-ins with Kylie (General Manager) to ensure every team member feels supported and valued
  • Up to $3,500 for relocation assistance

What’s the role?

  • Provide home and community-based rehabilitation and therapy in ADLS, Upper Limb & Cognition

  • Assistive technology assessment and prescription, including wheelchairs
  • Perform home modification assessment & prescription
  • Provide driving assessments and specialist driver training
  • Complete Functional Assessments and reports
  • Work with adult clients with a range of neurological conditions and disorders

Is the role right for you?
  • Experience working with people with a disability and speech, language, and/or swallowing difficulty.
  • Knowledge of the concepts and principles of The Professional Standards for Speech Pathologists in
    Australia
  • National Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Clearance
  • Current membership to SPA (Speech Pathology Australia)
  • Willingness to travel to regional and remote locations

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
