About the role
Reporting to the Director People and Safety, and working closely with the Manager People Services, the Senior Workplace Relations Specialist will provide strategic guidance on workplace relations and human resource management and demonstrating leadership in employee and industrial relations for Parks Victoria.
This position will encompass a full range of people-related functions, including employment conditions, industrial agreements, and compliance with Fair Work and other instruments and regulations relating to Parks Victoria. You will collaborate with leaders and our People and Safety team to offer advice, support, and coaching to achieve organisational outcomes and embed best practices in line with our Enterprise Agreement.
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience in providing technical workplace relations or employment law expertise to an organisation
- Experience in managing and providing advice on disciplinary matters, investigations and resolving disputes
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, including award interpretation, enterprise agreements, and HR policies
- Proven ability in leading and managing change processes and programs and providing strategic HR advice
