About the Role

Are you a passionate and experienced dietitian ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Senior Clinical Dietitian to join our dedicated team and lead nutrition and dietetic care within in the complex area of General Medicine. In this vital role, you’ll manage referral systems, coordinate care, and apply your advanced clinical knowledge to improve outcomes for high acuity patients. With minimal supervision, you’ll oversee all dietetic work in your specialty, support service development, and play a key role in shaping policies and procedures that ensure the highest standard of care.

As a specialist in your field, you’ll also provide clinical supervision to fellow dietitians and offer professional guidance across the broader health network. You’ll act as a consultant to medical, nursing and food service teams both within the organisation and across the region. About You

You are a dedicated and experienced dietitian with a passion for delivering high-quality clinical nutrition care and driving improvements in your field. You thrive in a leadership role, bring strong communication and organisational skills, and are committed to professional excellence within a specialised clinical area.

  • Professional Qualifications: Eligible for full membership with Dietitians Australia, with demonstrated experience in a relevant clinical nutrition specialty, including enteral feeding.

  • Strong Leadership & Supervision: Proven ability to provide clinical and professional supervision, lead teams, and take responsibility for maintaining high standards of practice.

  • Excellent Communication & Analytical Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and experience in report writing and program evaluation.

  • Service Development & Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of specialist dietetic care, quality improvement processes, and experience in developing, implementing and assessing nutrition care policies.
