Think Water Alice Springs is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australasia.
The role:
We are currently looking for a friendly, highly motivated person to work as a Storeperson, ensuring our customers have the best possible experience.
MUST HAVE LICENCES BELOW:
AUSTRALIAN CAR DRIVERS LICENCE
FORKLIFT LICENCE
You will be required to undertake below tasks:

Responsible for and accepting all deliveries of stock (including unloading of all freight trucks)

Process all Inwards Goods and paperwork as per company procedures.

Operating computers to ensue all customer orders are placed within Store area or on Customer Shelf.

File documentation into the Inwards Goods Receipting Tray.

Ship items in a timely manner and record information accurately.

Ensure salesperson have produced an invoice first for any shipping requests.

Assist in setting up shop and front area for opening and closing.
-
Responsible for delivery movement around yard.
-
Ensure driveways and yard are kept neat, tidy and clean.
-
General yard maintenance - weekly vacuum yard, mow lawns as required and dispose of all rubbish as required.

Other general duties as directed (including stocktakes)

Adhere to company OH&S standards and other related company policies.

Maintain the retail storage area and keep yard clean and tidy to ensure safety for deliver drivers, customers and staff.

Ensure work vehicles remain clean and tidy and all tools and parts are accounted for.
Physical demands and Abilities:
-
Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
-
Regularly perform repetitive tasks
-
Ability to operate a fork-lift
-
Ability to drive Tilt Tray Truck
The successful candidate:
-
Be a self-starter, with a 'can do' attitude
-
Be customer focused with excellent verbal communication skills
-
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to workload
-
Experience in Retail is highly desirable however a willingness to learn and a great attitude is more important.
-
A strong work ethic with a team player attitude.
-
Ability to work ever second Saturday morning.
