The South East Region is seeking the talents of a Business Manager as a short term backfill opportunity in our Hope Island office. The Business Manager will coordinate the corporate services functions of the regional office, and lead a team of three.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About The Role
The Business Manager will lead a small corporate services unit, with responsibility for regional financial management, human resource management, fleet and day-to-day regional office operations. The Business Manager reports to the Executive Director Regional Operations, and
supports the Executive Director and the Regional Director to deliver on regional priorities.
As this role is a short-term backfill opportunity (5 weeks) we are seeking someone who is a quick learner and can rapidly establish strong working relationships to maintain business continuity.
Responsibilities Include
Manage the day-to-day operations of the regional office,including creating efficiency in office procedures and systems, ensuring priorities are met, deadlines are achieved and the office functions effectively.Work in collaboration with central office partners to manage the region's fleet services and office accommodation needs.Support Directors to enact internal controls and business processes in response to the region's audit findings.Oversee the region's financial position and complete the Monthly Business Report.Provide line management and leadership to the Corporate Services Team, comprosing of 1 x AO4 Finance Officer and 2 x AO3 Corporate Services Officers.
