Our Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, PROK are currently seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Bayswater, WA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creation: Develop estimates for project and aftermarket conveyor pulleys with consideration of different customer and statutory requirements.
- Planning: Optimise delivery times with vendors, procurement and production teams.
- Execution: Create Bills of Materials, production routings and customer drawings for new and refurbished products
- Innovation: Expand and optimise existing estimating and BOM’ing tools. Develop tools to support automation of engineering processes. Engage with customers and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.
- Culture: Collaborate, communicate and assist with technical queries through the value chain, from customer enquiry to delivery of product.
About you
You will be a:
- Skilled Professional: A bachelor’s degree or diploma of engineering in a mechanical discipline with proficiency in CAD and Office applications. Autodesk Inventor and Vault experience a plus.
- Strategic thinker: You can solve complex problems and manage resources effectively.
- Strong Communicator: With great interpersonal skills, an energetic persona, and conflict management skills.
- Relentless bias to action : You're passionate about getting things done, whilst being entrepreneurial and professional.
