Your Impact:

As a full time Cleaner, you will play a key role:

• Support the Facilities & Assets Manager in maintaining the buildings and property of Good Sammy, and other properties as required, in clean condition.
• Support the Good Sammy purpose: ‘To create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities.’
• You will provide professional and timely services across all areas of Good Sammy’s metropolitan region facilities.

What you'll do:

• Empty bins and replace bin liners to all bins at all sites.
• Remove all rubbish including outside bulk rubbish bins (wheelie bins).
• Clean all toilets twice a day, including replenishing toilet paper, hand towels and soap dispensers.
• Sweep and mop floors in all office areas.
• Dust doors and ceiling vents.
• Vacuum reception area and leave furniture neat and tidy.
• Vacuum all office areas and common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms.
• Disinfect reception desk and all meeting/training rooms.
• Disinfect surfaces, door handles, and other frequently touched areas
• Clean and degrease the wall tiles above and around the stove in the Cafeteria Kitchen.
• Wipe wall free of spills and marks.
• Sweep and mop cafeteria floors daily.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables as needed to Facilities and Assets Manager.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to safety standards.
• Clean the pool vehicles weekly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning tasks and priorities.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

What you'll bring:

• Current ‘C’ class licence.
• Physically able to perform required duties.
• Able to work with various cleaning products.
• Able to work autonomously.
