Description:

Join Dexus as an Analyst in Property Capital Works, supporting project coordination and financial analysis in Melbourne.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external Project Managers with project coordination, system updates, and contract administration.
  • Assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis across national projects.
  • Build and maintain tools for predictive analytics and revenue tracking.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses.
  • Learn and grow into a subject matter expert in Yardi (Construction Manager).
  • Collaborate with the Capital Works and Finance teams on monthly reporting, accruals, and year-end processes.
  • Contribute to system improvements and test new Yardi features to enhance efficiency.
  • Help onboard and manage vendors, ensuring smooth documentation and communication.
  • Attend team and program-wide meetings, contributing ideas and following through on actions.
  • Keep project files and documentation organised and up to date.

About you

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is an emerging property industry professional with entry-level experience in administration or coordination.
  • A tertiary degree in Real Estate, Land Economics, Engineering, Construction, Management, Business, Property, Project Management, Law, or Town Planning.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with internal/external stakeholders and all business levels.
  • Desire to learn and become competent in construction contracts, leases, and similar legal documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a high-functioning team.
