As the Clinical Nurse, you will provide speciality care to Maxillofacial and Vascular surgical patients and support the Perioperative Unit with procurement and supply processes.You’ll be working on a flexible roster, as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant.
The Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) is a 360-bed tertiary hospital. It services the Darwin urban areas and acts as a referral centre for the Top End, a population of around 140,000 people, including rural and remote Aboriginal communities. There is a strong clinical focus on Aboriginal health and infectious diseases.RDH works closely with the other hospitals in the Northern Territory including the provision of outreach services. RDH is a tertiary teaching hospital affiliated with Flinders University, Charles Darwin University, the Menzies School of Health Research, and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre.
Palmerston Regional Hospital (PRH) is a subacute 116-bed facility and opened as an extension of RDH.
